Delete your data or your whole account

Permanently delete your saved CVs and history, or close your account.

  1. Open your Dashboard and choose Delete account or data.
  2. Choose Delete all my data (saved CVs, cover letters and job check history; your login stays) or Delete my whole account.
  3. Press Continue. We email a 6-digit code to your address. It expires in 10 minutes.
  4. Enter the code and press Confirm deletion.

Deleting data: live data is removed within 24 hours and from backups within 7 days after that.

Deleting the whole account: it runs 30 days after you confirm, so you have time to change your mind. Open the same screen and press Cancel this deletion to stop it.

Students cannot delete their own account. See Ask your teacher to delete your account.
